IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a therapy using state-of-the-art flash lamp technology for a number of cosmetic applications. Treatment is mildly uncomfortable and often likened to the sensation of snapping the skin with an elastic band, cooling prior, during and post treatment is used to decrease discomfort. A free 30 minute consultation and patch test is required before any treatment can commence.
IPL SKIN REJUVENATION
Many people from early thirties onwards suffer with premature ageing, largely due to sun damage, which can result in dull, rough skin, enlarged pores, lines and wrinkles. Mottled skin tone, vascular lesions such as thread veins and areas of pigmentation are also common. With the IPL promotion of fibroblast activity and subtle restructure of collagen all the above mentioned signs of ageing can be addressed.
