Dermal Filler Treatments
When performing your treatment numbing cream is applied topically as well as having lidocaine pre-mixed with the product for maximum comfort. A combination of needle and cannula can be used depending on the areas being treated and the technique required. Treatments normally last between 12 – 18 months depending on product used and the area treated.

Dermal Filler is especially beneficial on sunken areas under the eyes and for deep wrinkles in the skin. They are effectively filled to give you a more even skin contour and consequently, a more youthful appearance.
The Juvederm Vycross and Ultra ranges are used for all areas (other than Tear Trough) and is CE and FDA approved, providing you with the safest and best results possible. Dermal filler when administered by a therapist with advanced training will give you a natural looking appearance.
Non-Surgical Facelift
A liquid facelift is an excellent non-surgical option for people seeking a more youthful appearance with quick end result, no downtime, and no going under the knife.
It is where dermal fillers are skilfully used to lift and sculpt, thereby rejuvenating the face by strategically placing it in a bespoke way to meet your individual needs. You skin will look fuller and less lined, subtly improving your skin inside and out.
This treatment is often used in combination with wrinkle relaxers (Botox) to obtain optimum results. The liquid facelift leaves you looking tighter and more luminous, yet a subtle but extremely effective way.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a popular and more affordable alternative to the traditional rhinoplasty procedure and doesn’t involve going under the knife meaning no downtime, so you can return to work and other day-to-day activities immediately. This involves a dermal filler being injected into the nose and helps to change or make corrections to the structure.
Treatment can make the tip more prominent, or lift the tip if desired, correct a dorsal hump and build up a nasal bridge. It is also highly effective at smoothing out bumps and adding volume and symmetry to the nose. The results are seen immediately and can last up to 18 months.
A non-surgical nose job is a great way to experiment with modifications to the nose area or if you wish to make smaller, perhaps more discrete, changes to the appearance of your nose.
Tear Trough
Tear trough fillers are an effective way of treating dark circles under the eyes and under-eye hollows due to volume loss.
Precisely placed filler adds subtle volume to the area, reducing the darkness, hollows and smoothing out wrinkles. It also improves skin quality by boosting collagen production and hydrating skin from the within. Further brightening occurs with the cocktail of 14 essential nutrients naturally present in the skin that are combined with the filler product used (8 amino acids + 3 antioxidants + 2 minerals + 1 vitamin).
This treatment will give you natural-looking results with a fresher, less tired-looking appearance.
Cleft Lip Repair
We have recently been making people aware of the options for those with a cleft lip, we are able to offer this as our resident Nurse prescriber and lead Technician has undergone a masterclass in Lip Augmentation. At Medicare Aesthetics we don’t believe in the unnatural over inflated and somewhat distorted looking lips so many younger women today crave, our philosophy is a simple one; beautifully shaped natural looking lips that enhance not distract from the rest of your face.
With subtle use of filler we are able to balance and symmetrise lips. Our honest opinion is you’re beautiful as you are but for many they find themselves self-conscious and their cleft lip can steal their confidence. Juvederm contains a hyaluronic acid gel that is hydrophilic and gently expands once injected to achieve a natural looking shape and contour.
Filler Correction (Filler Dissolver)
We also offer a filler reversal and correction treatment should you decide dermal filler treatment isn’t right for you. Using Topilase and Hyalase it can be dissolved, this procedure is idea if Dermal Fillers have been placed incorrectly, excessively or unevenly, or if a patient wishes to reverse the effect of a dermal filler treatment prematurely for other reasons.
Once the filler has been removed, we recommend waiting at least 4 weeks before we re-treat with dermal filler to create your desired look. For minor corrections we would recommend Topilase, this is a more targeted less invasive treatment and ideal for localised areas that need minor correction.
